Cryptosis is joining forces with Obscura, Allegaeon and Cognitive in the spring of 2026 throughout West coast and East coast USA.Â
After an 11 hour flight from Amsterdam, we arrived at LAX in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 12. Customs went smoothly and our luggage came in quickly. Steffen Kummerer picked us up in the bandwagon, a massive house on wheels that would be our home for the next three and a half weeks. After sorting out our merch, we headed to the Rainbow Bar for a drink. It is a legendary hangout for musicians like Lemmy Kilmister and bands such as Guns N’ Roses. We paid our respects at the Lemmy memorial before heading back to rest.
The next day, we drove to the first venue of the tour, the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood. We were definitely feeling the jet lag, but still managed to play a solid show. It was a real honor to be on the same stage as artists like The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, The Who and Led Zeppelin.

From Los Angeles, we made our way to Tucson. It was a long 12 hour drive and we arrived much later than planned. Thankfully, the guys from Cognitive and Allegaeon helped us out a lot with loading and setting up. Our friend David from Vektor came out to the show, which made it even better. Unfortunately, we ran into a lot of technical issues. The stage monitors were not working properly, so we had no real stage sound, and halfway through the set Frank’s bass amp gave out completely. We had to stop after four and a half songs. Not ideal, but we still had fun and made the best of it.
Next up was El Paso, another long drive. The venue looked great and the atmosphere was really good. A lot of people showed up, and we met some fans who have been following us for over 15 years, going all the way back to our Distillator days. Moments like that make it all worth it.
After that, we headed to Austin, Texas. Another long stretch on the road. Steffen has been juggling a lot, from driving to tour managing to playing his own set, so grabbing sleep whenever possible has been important. The venue, Come and Take It Live, was a really cool spot with a lot of character. One of the highlights was a display with huge Jack Daniel’s bottles and shotguns behind glass. The show went great and we definitely made some new fans that night.
To wrap up the week, we drove to Oklahoma City, close to 600 miles again. We got there a bit late and had to rush getting everything in. The venue was in a funny spot between two weed shops, but it looked great and had plenty of space. One of the best moments was seeing two young kids at the show with their dad. They picked up some merch and a signed setlist. It is always great to see a new generation getting into metal and coming out to shows.
